There are two Hiking trails located near your cottage. Black Bass Lake is short 5 minute drive and Cave springs trail is located on our own property.
Each hike is short and pleasant, making for a great outdoor excursion or a nice after noon walk.
 | Black Bass Lake was once the historic water supply reservoir for Eureka Springs, and is one of Eurekas’ many hidden treasures. Few know about it, and even fewer know where to find it. A natural area, located on 200 acres, Black Bass lake has 2.5 miles of public hiking/biking trails.
It also offers a picturesque dam, beautiful scenery, and great fishing.
Due to its location, this site is recommended to those staying in Hillside Haven Cottage, Cedar Shade, Hidden Oak and Hideaway Treehouse(s).
|
Cave Spring Trail is our own private hiking area. It makes a loop approximately 1 mile long, along which you will find a lookout point, beautiful bluffs, a year round spring and a seasonal creek.
Due to its location, this trail is accessible only to our guests staying in Bungalow, Whispering Wood, Towering Pines and Lofty Lookout Treehouse(s).
There are several year-round hiking opportunities in the Eureka Springs area, along with various other outdoor activities.
Some other locations would include:
Blue Springs Heritage Center
Pivot Rock
Withrow Springs State Park
Lake Leatherwood
Beaver Lake and Dam
War Eagle Mill and Cavern
Dogwood Canyon
Cosmic Cavern
Springs & Parks walking tour of Eureka Springs
